New Year’s Eve is all about time. Time for renewal. Time for reflection.
For the Mina Al Salam Hotel, the approach was to take this notion of time and starts with a look back at historical Greece; a period of mystery filled with legend and drama. The rectangular event deck takes its inspiration from the Temple of Apollo at Delphi. Apollo was known as the god of practically everything, but more famously, as the god of Light and Art. New Year’s Eve offered a perfect canvas for both of these elements. The perimeter of the event deck was lined with Greek columns and stones, creating a sense of grandieur as the tower above seated guests.
