Palme Couture on the Palm is another Innovate Living development built to face the setting sun over the water, and its opening made that signature the show. A combination of lighting and lasers held an eternal sunset on the facade, a wash of turquoise, orange and yellow that stayed long after the real one had gone.
On the lower terrace, the two pools were filled with more than a hundred thousand ping-pong balls to make a floating screen, and projection mapping animated the surface. From the penthouse terrace looking down or the pool terrace looking up, the building and its water were doing the same thing, and every guest had the best seat.
