Route 66 is a legendary road stretching across the heartland of America. It’s a metaphor for freedom and the desire to just go. Anywhere. It has a natural ‘cool’ about it that effortlessly supports the Ray-Ban brand. The road itself is littered with old diners, classic cars, run down motels and sun bleached motels. And a century’s worth of dreams from travelers long gone.
Ray-Ban wanted to draw inspiration from this classic era, creating an experiential stand to mirror the sites one might see from their car window as they sped down Route 66 on the road trip of a lifetime. Supporting furnishings and accenting reflected a 1950 ’s Americana design sensibility.
