Celebrities and journalists made their way to London’s One Embankment for Sony’s Xperia Access Live Party. The Thames-side event introduced Sony’s new flagship smartphone the Xperia Z2. As well as having hands-on time with the new device, guests were treated to a stripped-back acoustic set from Sony Artist Katy B, while DJ/Presenter Jameela Jamil took to the decks to provide the soundtrack for the evening.
Those eager to get their hands on the new handset included Denise Van Outen, Professor Green, Jamie Laing, Jack Whitehall, Laura Mvula, Stooshe and A*M*E who were all in attendance. The center piece to the dance-floor was provided by an elaborate giant phone shaped ball-pond which guests gravitated to in droves, but it was Katy B who stole the show with a medley of tracks including those of her most recent album.
A fantastic evening and a succesful launch.
