Dubai Holding’s 2025 ATM reception at Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab was a Jumeirah evening first and an ILIĀNA evening second, so the design had to accent the restaurant’s modern Greek identity rather than compete with it. The name gave us two threads. ILIĀNA derives from Helios, the sun, which became the main device: a pale sun rising from a sea of green with golden waves, cradling the wordmark.
Guests arrived by QR invitation through the valet or the beach entrance, each with its own reception in the Helios design. The main entrance led through Helios-inspired rings to a reception desk, a photo wall with the logo floating in an LED-ringed sun, and a Glambot against a backlit Jumeirah backdrop. Greek columns set in LED frames and adorned with olive trees punctuated the rooftop and lower terrace, where a DJ booth carried the lit Jumeirah logo inside a Helios ring, and an elongated stage on the main terrace left the Burj Al Arab skyline unobstructed behind it.
