QUBE’s ELIRE development needed a launch with the same layered, feminine grandeur as the building itself, and we staged it in three acts at the Delano on Bluewaters. The VIP invitation arrived as an espresso set in a box patterned from the brand’s own textures, a housewarming gift with longevity. Guests were greeted by hosts in green with rose gold accents and a signature drink, then entered a pre-function built from ELIRE’s crown archways: an LED arch, five arches, LED water features, an infinity arch and three staged pockets of texture and light that alluded to life inside the development. At a dedicated artist station, Charlotte Hudders hand-finished bottles of The Essence of ELIRE, a limited edition fragrance created with MONTROI.
The ballroom was dressed with five LED archways inside a full projection wall, custom napkin rings and table decor, and a Glambot delivering cinematic slow-motion to guests’ phones within minutes. The reveal was the Sequin QUBE: thousands of rose gold sequins suspended from the ceiling, hiding the development model in plain sight. At the appointed moment the strands dropped in unison and ELIRE was born into the room on a slowly rotating platform, introduced by a performer embodying the building’s muse.
